To All Depository Institutions, and Others Concerned, in the Second Federal Reserve District:

All offices of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York are closed on all Saturdays and Sundays and on the following public holidays:

Labor Day (first Monday in September) Monday, September 6
Columbus Day (second Monday in October) Monday, October 11
Veterans Day (November 11) Thursday, November 11
Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday in November) Thursday, November 25
Christmas Day (December 25) Saturday, December 25**

*If a holiday falls on a Sunday, it will be observed on the next day (Monday). Therefore, this Bank will be closed on July 5 in 1999.

**If a holiday falls on a Saturday, it will not be observed on any other day. Therefore, this Bank will be open December 24 and December 27 in 1999.
