Community Reinvestment Act: Interagency Questions and Answers

To All State Member Banks in the Second Federal Reserve District:

The Consumer Compliance Task Force of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) has amended and republished its Interagency Questions and Answers Regarding Community Reinvestment. The Task Force also invites comments on the proposed or revised questions and answers, as well as on any other community reinvestment issue. The questions and answers were last revised in May 1999 (see our Circular No. 11156).

A copy of Part III of the Federal Register of April 28, 2000, which republishes the Interagency Questions and Answers is available as a file (pdf - 330kb). Comments are requested by June 27, 2000, and should be sent to the FFIEC, as specified in the notice.
