Revision of Brochure on Home Equity Lines of Credit

To All Depository Institutions and Others Concerned in the Second Federal Reserve District:

In a press release dated March 22, the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System announced that it has revised its brochure entitled When Your Home Is On the Line: What You Should Know About Home Equity Lines of Credit." The revised brochure is available on the Board's public web site and from the Board by mail, as indicated in the press release.

Lenders who are required to provide the brochure, or a suitable substitute, with application forms for home equity lines of credit may use the earlier version of the brochure until existing supplies are exhausted.
