To All Depository Institutions and Others Concerned in the Second Federal Reserve District:

In a press release, the staff of the Federal Reserve Board, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, National Credit Union Administration, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and Office of Thrift Supervision have issued guidance to help financial institutions comply with these agencies' consumer privacy regulations.

The guidance is in the form of Frequently Asked Questions, attached (pdf - 74kb).
