Overview
The Statistics Function will rebroadcast the 2011 Report of U.S. Ownership of Foreign Securities, including Selected Money Market Instruments, SHC seminar designed to provide an understanding and overview of the reporting requirements and key issues that affect reporters filing Schedule 2 and Schedule 3 for the annual filing for the 2013 SHC(A) report.

Description
In non-benchmark years, the annual survey (Form SHCA) will require reports from only the largest U.S.-resident custodians and end-investors. The data reported under these annual surveys (Form SHCA) will be used in conjunction with the results of the previous benchmark survey to compute economy-wide estimates for the non-benchmark years. The purpose of the SHCA report is to gather timely and reliable information on the levels and changes in U.S. international portfolio capital positions for the preparation of the official U.S. balance of payments as well as for statistical series compiled and maintained by the International Monetary Fund.

Reporting Dates
Report data as of December 31, 2013. Data should be submitted to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York no later than the first Friday of March 2014.
