New York Fed to Present Report on Economic Competitiveness of Puerto Rico

NEW YORK - The Federal Reserve Bank of New York will present a report on the economic competitiveness of Puerto Rico June 29 at the Puerto Rico Chamber of Commerce’s annual convention.  President William C. Dudley will introduce the report and deliver remarks on economic conditions via a live video conference.  Additionally, James McAndrews, executive vice president and co-head of the Research and Statistics Group, will deliver a speech and present the report’s conclusions. 

Following the presentations, New York Fed economists and report authors will appear on a panel and participate in a Q&A session.  Immediately following the event, report authors will be available to meet with media to discuss the report. 

The speeches and report will be published on the New York Fed’s website on June 29 at 8:30 AM EDT.
