Eric Stern is a senior regional and community policy analyst. His analysis focuses on housing and regional affairs. In addition to his research function, Mr. Stern engages with Second District stakeholders on community development affairs.

Before joining the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in October 2011, Mr. Stern was an Arthur Liman Public Interest Law Summer Fellow at the New York City Council. Previously, he provided research assistance for New York University's Institute for Education and Social Policy, the New York League of Conservation Voters and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Mr. Stern was awarded a bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, where he concentrated in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs and earned certificates in Urban Studies and Environmental Studies.
