Bill Selick is a Vice President and Function Head of the Research Services Function in the Research and Statistics Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Research Services consist of Research Technology Services (High Performance Clusters and Econometric Tools), Research Library, Research Publications and Research Executive Services. Bill's team manages Research’s state-of-the-art Computing Environment which offers economists a broad spectrum of technology resources, the ability to take advantage of real and financial data series, and electronic access to academic journals. His team also manages the editorial process of all Research Publications. Prior to joining the New York Fed, Mr. Selick was the Director of Global Messaging Services for Credit Suisse, and had a 15 year career as a strategic systems engineer in the defense industry. He holds a BSEE from Lehigh University and an MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
