Overview
The Statistics Function of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host a full-day training seminar on how to complete the "Report of U.S. Ownership of Foreign Securities Including Selected Money Market Instruments."

The seminar will be available for viewing on the Internet for at least 30 days after the presentation.

The seminar is designed to educate firms on the reporting requirements. The seminar assumes a familiarity with investment practices and provides a detailed discussion of foreign securities, together with descriptions and samples of the schedules and other informational tools.

Representatives of the Statistics Function and the Board of Governors will describe in detail the methodology of identifying reportable securities, as well as pertinent reporting requirements and the technical requirements for submitting the data.

Light snacks will be available. There will not be a lunch break and attendees will not have access to the bank's cafeteria. The dress code is business casual.
