Quarterly Report on Household Debt and Credit
Total household debt rose by $184 billion to reach $17.69 trillion, with mortgage balances increasing by $190 billion. Credit card debt fell, as is typical in the first quarter, but transitions into delinquency rose again for credit cards and auto loans.

SURVEY OF CONSUMER EXPECTATIONS
April Survey: Median one-year-ahead inflation expectations increased to 3.3 percent from 3.0 percent. They also increased to 2.8 percent at the five-year-ahead horizon and decreased to 2.8 percent at the three-year horizon.

SCE HOUSING SURVEY
Annual Survey: One-year-ahead home price growth expectation increased to 5.1 percent in February 2024 from 2.6 percent a year prior. In contrast, the corresponding five-year outlook declined 0.1 percentage point to 2.7 percent.
