Large International Financial Institutions
The Large International Financial Institutions Function is responsible for the supervision of those foreign financial institutions operating in the 2nd district that are subject to enhanced supervision due to their size and or complexity of operations. The portfolio is distributed based on factors of geography and type of business.

Patricia Meadow
Patricia Meadow is vice president and head of the Large International and Foreign Institutions (“LIFI”) function in the Financial Institutions Supervision Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. LIFI supervisory specialists assess the safety and soundness of the largest international and foreign institutions located in the Second District. Most recently, Ms. Meadow was the head of the Regional and Community Banks and Consumer Compliance function. Prior to joining the Bank in 2011, Ms. Meadow was First Deputy Superintendent at the New York State Banking Department, where she was responsible for supervisory matters related to large complex financial institutions and community banks.

With over 30 years of experience in the field of financial services, Ms. Meadow has held management positions in major international financial institutions in the areas of corporate lending and portfolio restructuring, business development, administration, and human resources.

Ms. Meadow holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Arcadia University and a Master of International Affairs degree from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs.
