Group Operations provides operational and administrative services, across multiple disciplines, in support of the execution of core supervisory activities.

Gary Kaplan
Gary Kaplan is vice president and function head for Group Operations in the Supervision Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Mr. Kaplan has oversight responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the Group, including workforce management, finance, information services, learning & development, facilities, business continuity and project management. Further, he is responsible for relationship management with key service providers.

Prior to this role, Mr. Kaplan was vice president in the New York Fed’s Corporate Group. In this position, Mr. Kaplan served as the Supervision Group’s Finance Business Partner, working closely with all areas of Supervision on planning, resourcing and operations. Mr. Kaplan joined the New York Fed in 2012, and before that he worked in operational roles at JP Morgan Chase and Bear Stearns.

Mr. Kaplan holds a BS from the State University of New York at Oneonta.
