Tanju Yorulmazer is an Economist in the Financial Intermediation Function at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from NYU in 2003. Prior to joining the New York Fed he worked as an Economist at the Bank of England. His research focuses on topics such as banking, systemic risk, liquidity, financial crises and their resolution. His articles have been published (or forthcoming) in the Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Journal of Money Credit and Banking, and the Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control.
