New York Fed to Host Economic Press Briefing on Homeownership and Housing on May 22

May 09, 2019

The briefing will examine how homeownership in the United States has evolved over the last 25 years, with a particular focus on younger households. It will also consider the outlook for homeownership and the factors that may determine future trends.

President John Williams will deliver opening remarks and will join a panel of New York Fed economists to answer questions after the economists’ presentation.

The event will be open to journalists to attend in-person. It will also be available via webcast for registered participants.
