New York Area Workshop on Monetary Policy

November 18, 2005

This is the fall meeting of a workshop sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and open to monetary policy researchers from the greater New York area.

Overview
The purpose of the workshop is to bring together academics and other researchers in the field of monetary economics to discuss a wide range of issues relevant to the conduct of monetary policy. Participants are encouraged to present both theoretical and empirical work.

The workshop will run from 9:00 a.m. to about 5:00 p.m. There will be four papers on the program, each with two discussants. Lunch and coffee breaks will provide additional time for scientific interaction.
