Connect to Grow: A One-Stop Shop for Small Business Owners

In response to Hurricane Maria, the New York Fed is partnering with Colmena 66, a project of the Puerto Rico Science Trust, to provide small business owners in Puerto Rico with recovery aid and assistance information from federal, local, nonprofit, and for-profit organizations. This one-day, one-stop recovery forum will consist of a series of 10-minute presentations by service providers, and technical assistance appointments will take place concurrently throughout the day. Participating organizations include the US Small Business Administration, US Department of Veterans Affairs, US Occupational Health and Safety Administration, US Federal Insurance and Mitigation Administration, US Department of Commerce, and the Puerto Rico Industrial Development Corporation among several others.

En Español: El Banco de la Reserva Federal de Nueva York, en colaboración con Colmena 66, un proyecto del Fideicomiso para Ciencia, Tecnología e Investigación de Puerto Rico, realizará un evento con el objetivo de dar apoyo a los empresarios del país que se han visto afectados por el huracán María. El evento va a incluir paneles y charlas informativas, y organizaciones que ofrecen servicios estarán presentes para reunirse individualmente con quienes atienden. Organizaciones participantes incluyen al US Small Business Administration, US Department of Veterans Affairs, US Occupational Health and Safety Administration, US Federal Insurance and Mitigation Administration, US Department of Commerce, y Compañía de Fomento Industrial entre otros.
