School group requests

Educators from schools and student programs serving 7th grade and up may submit a request to visit the Museum and Learning Center. Each one- to two-hour visit provides an inquiry-based, accessible, and informative learning experience designed to promote awareness of the role and responsibilities of the Federal Reserve System and enhance economic literacy. Inclusion of a visit to the gold vault is not guaranteed and subject to change.



Availability is limited. Schools and programs within the Federal Reserve’s Second District (New York State; the 12 northern counties of New Jersey; Fairfield County, Connecticut; Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands) receive priority for scheduling.

School group schedule
Tuesday – Friday, 10:00 am and 1:00 pm, except Bank Holidays. Subject to change. Please note these days and times when planning a school group visit.

Requirements

At this time, the Museum and Learning Center is only open to school groups and student programs. Each school group must have a confirmed, advance reservation to visit and must be accompanied by at least one adult educator/chaperone.

Printed tickets are required for entry.

Visitors aged 16 and older must also present a valid, government-issued ID with photo, such as a driver's license or passport. Students under the age of 16 are encouraged to present a school ID, if applicable. The name on the ID must match the name printed on the ticket. A picture of an ID will not be accepted.

Visitors should arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for security screening.

School visits begin promptly. Late arrivals may not be accepted.

Photography is not allowed.

Please limit the bags and belongings you bring to the museum.
