Auctions Conducted by Central Banks during the Crisis
November 22, 2010

A Conference sponsored by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.

Overview
The objective of the workshop is twofold. First and foremost, we will share experiences about the design and the outcomes of auctions conducted by central banks around the world during the latest financial crisis. Second, it will be an opportunity to establish contacts between people either involved or interested in central banks' auctions in different countries. Speakers and attendees will include both practitioners and more academically oriented researchers. The sessions will range from simple descriptive presentations to more formal technical presentations.
