Keshav joined the Federal Reserve bank in August 2015 as an economist in the Macroeconomic and Monetary Studies Function. His research interests include macroeconomics, monetary economics and fiscal policy. His current research looks at the optimal design of fiscal and macroprudential policy in a liquidity trap, sovereign debt crises in a monetary union, the design of stress tests, and the determinants of wealth inequality. Keshav received his Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University in 2015. He received an MSc in Economics from the University of Edinburgh in 2009.
