Lee Seltzer joined the New York Fed in August 2021 as an Economist in the Financial Intermediation Function. His research interests include examining corporate finance issues in real estate markets, in particular the effects of firm corporate finance decision-making on rental housing markets. He also studies the implications of climate risk on financial markets. He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. in Economics and History from Rutgers University.
