NEW YORK–The Federal Reserve Bank of New York will hold a press briefing to discuss results from its Q4 2012 Quarterly Report on Household Debt and Credit Thursday, February 28 at 11 a.m. The Quarterly Report provides an updated snapshot of household trends in borrowing and indebtedness, including data about mortgages, student loans, credit cards, auto loans and delinquencies.
The briefing will include the following presentations from members of the New York Fed's Research and Statistics Group:
- Economic overview: Jamie McAndrews, executive vice president and research director
- Credit conditions in the fourth quarter and 2012 year in review: Wilbert Van der Klaauw, senior vice president and economist
- A look at student loan debt growth, delinquencies and relationship to other debts: Donghoon Lee, senior economist
After the presentations, a panel will answer questions related to the report from the media.
