Gizem Kosar joined the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in September 2015 as an Economist in the Microeconomic Studies Function. Her research interests include labor and public economics with applications to public assistance programs, consumer bankruptcy, negotiations in the labor market, and household bargaining. Her current research focuses on the impact of the Earned Income Tax Credit on the life-cycle wage growth of single women, the determinants of Chapter 13 bankruptcy outcomes, and wage negotiations in a private information setting. Gizem received her PhD in Economics from Johns Hopkins University in August 2015.
