Monetary Policy in the Classroom

Overview
A three-day workshop for high school economics and social studies teachers designed to give educators the knowledge and tools to teach macroeconomics, monetary policy and the Federal Reserve. Apart from presentations by Fed staff, attention will focus on interactive computer and classroom activities. Materials are provided.

Participants receive a letter certifying their attendance that some school districts apply towards fulfilling mandated staff development requirements.

Audience
Teachers from the Federal Reserve Second District: New York State; the 12 northern counties of New Jersey; Fairfield County, Connecticut; Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
