Federal Reserve System Conference on Investing in Rural America

September 30, 2026

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, in partnership with the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, the Federal Reserve System, and Rural LISC, hosted the annual Investing in Rural America Conference. It was held from Wednesday, September 30 to Friday, October 2, 2026, in-person in Asheville, N.C.

The event highlighted the people, institutions, and local strategies that power rural economies and sustain long-term prosperity. It explored how tailored, place-based approaches can unlock opportunity, expand collaboration, and support vibrant communities nationwide.
