New York Fed President Dudley to Visit Northern New Jersey April 6

NEW YORK— Federal Reserve Bank of New York President William C. Dudley will visit Northern New Jersey on Monday, April 6 to meet with local business and community leaders, and hear firsthand about economic conditions in the region.   

President Dudley will begin the day-long visit with a speech on the national and regional economy at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.  Afterwards, he is expected to tour Teachers Village, a mixed-use community in downtown Newark, to learn about redevelopment efforts in the area.  He will also meet with members of the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, local government leaders and small business owners. 

Later in the day, President Dudley is scheduled to meet with nonprofit small business lenders and visit the Stevens Institute of Technology to discuss the school's workforce development initiatives.
