New York Fed to Hold Press Briefing on Household Debt and Credit Report February 12
February 2, 2016
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York will hold a press briefing examining trends in household borrowing and indebtedness on February 12 at 10:00 AM.  The New York Fed will also release its Q4 2015 Household Debt and Credit Report at that time.

The Household Debt and Credit Report provides an updated snapshot of household trends in borrowing and indebtedness, including data about mortgages, student loans, credit cards, auto loans and delinquencies.

The press briefing will include a presentation from New York Fed economists on credit conditions and activity of U.S. consumers over the past year, as well as new analysis on developments in the mortgage market.  The economists will also present research examining the changing demographics of borrowers.

President William Dudley will provide remarks during the briefing, and will join a panel of New York Fed economists to answer questions after the presentation.

The event will be webcast to registered participants.
