New York Fed and The Demand Institute to Host a Webcast on the U.S. Consumer

Watch the webcast that aired on Sept. 1.

NEW YORK—Federal Reserve Bank of New York and The Demand Institute—a not-for-profit think tank jointly operated by The Conference Board and Nielson—will host a joint webcast on September 1 at 1:00 p.m. 

The webcast will highlight the latest findings from the New York Fed's Survey of Consumer Expectations, featuring Americans’ views on inflation, job prospects, and earnings growth and their expectations about future spending and access to credit. It will also review the latest results from The Conference Board Consumer Confidence Survey. During the webcast, speakers will provide a detailed breakdown of confidence at regional and state levels, and will describe the potential implications for business leaders and policymakers.
