New York Fed to Host Economic Press Briefing on Wage Inequality in the Region on August 10

July 28, 2017

NEW YORK—The Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host its next economic press briefing on Thursday, August 10, at 10:00 a.m.

The briefing will examine employment trends in the Second District, including New York City, New York State, Northern New Jersey, and Puerto Rico, with a focus on wage inequality and the economic forces behind it.

President William Dudley will deliver opening remarks and will join a panel of New York Fed economists to answer questions after the presentation.
