New York Fed to Publish Blog Series about Lehman Bankruptcy

January 10, 2019

NEW YORK—The Federal Reserve Bank of New York will publish a series of blog posts about the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy on Liberty Street Economics during the week of January 14.

Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on September 15, 2008, initiating one of the largest and most complex bankruptcy proceedings in history. The blog series provides an assessment of the value lost to Lehman, its creditors, and other stakeholders now that the bankruptcy proceedings are winding down.
