New York Fed to Host Fourth Conference on Fintech: Artificial Intelligence and Digital Assets

NEW YORK—On Friday, September 29, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York will host a conference bringing together academics, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss the innovative applications of digital assets and generative artificial intelligence. The discussion will also focus on the perils of these technologies to market integrity, privacy, and security. Sessions will cover the following topics: crypto market structure, decentralized finance tools for financial market infrastructure, approaches to regulating crypto, and the use of large language models in economic research.
