The Federal Reserve Bank of New York's Governance and Culture Reform Initiative (Culture Initiative) will host an in-person conference on culture and behavior on Monday, November 17.
The seminar will explore the ways innovation and technology shape cultural norms and professional practices. Speakers will reflect on how technology can foster healthy, adaptive organizations and influence dynamics underlying innovation. The program builds on previous conferences, webinars, and podcasts on culture.
The event will include welcome remarks from New York Fed President John Williams and conversations with academic, financial services, and technology experts.
The Culture Initiative is designed to foster discussion about corporate governance, culture, and behavior in the financial services industry. It examines how formal organizational structures and underlying drivers of individual and group behaviors can impact organizations’ culture and behavior.
This conference is open to reporters in-person, and all remarks are on the record. Journalists interested in attending in person must RSVP with Shelley Pitterson at shelley.pitterson@ny.frb.org. See the event page for the full conference agenda and additional details.
