Global Dimensions of the Financial Crisis
June 3-4, 2010
The Federal Reserve Bank of New York hosted the conference “Global Dimensions of the Financial Crisis.” The program included eight papers by academic and policy economists, a panel discussion chaired by Federal Reserve Vice Chairman Donald L. Kohn, and keynote remarks by Federal Reserve Bank of New York President William C. Dudley.

The conference will be organized around four key themes:

  • The Role of Global Financial Markets
  • Dynamics of International Trade, Capital Flows, and Recovery
  • Policy Interventions across Countries
  • Exchange Rate Policies, International Currencies, and Foreign Exchange Reserves
