Bill Selick is a Vice President and Function Head of the Group Shared Services Function in the Research and Statistics Group at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Group Shared Services consist of Technology Services (High Performance Clusters & Econometric Tools, Statistics Application Support), Research Information Services, Archives, Research Publications, Risk/Compliance Management, Project Management and Administrative Services. Bill's team manages Research’s state-of-the-art Computing Environment which offers economists a broad spectrum of technology resources and the ability to take advantage of economic and financial data series, and provides support for the data and statistics computing infrastructure of the Bank. His team also manages the editorial and graphics process of all Research Publications. Prior to joining the New York Fed, Mr. Selick was the Director of Global Messaging Services for Credit Suisse, and had a 15 year career as a strategic systems engineer in the defense industry. He holds a BSEE from Lehigh University and an MBA in Management from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
