Help Us Track Economic Conditions by Participating in Our Regional Surveys

As part of our mission at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, we collect and disseminate information about regional economic conditions in a frequent and timely fashion.

Results from our three surveys serve as economic indicators, helping us track regional economic conditions, and are used to inform our monetary policy decisions.

If you are a manufacturer in New York State or northern New Jersey, or a business leader in the Second District, we invite you to participate in our regional surveys. The information you provide as a survey panelist is a valuable public service.

Empire State Manufacturing Survey

For manufacturers in New York State.

Northern New Jersey Manufacturing Survey

For manufacturers in northern New Jersey.

Business Leaders Survey

For nonmanufacturing firms in the Federal Reserve’s Second District, which includes New York State; Northern New Jersey; and Fairfield County, Connecticut.
