New York Fed to Host Press Briefing on the Regional Economy

NEW YORK—Federal Reserve Bank of New York economists will provide an update on regional economic conditions at a press briefing on August 18 at 10 a.m. The briefing will examine local employment trends and provide analysis on which sectors are driving growth throughout the Second District, including New York City, New York State, northern New Jersey and Puerto Rico.

The briefing will also include remarks from President William Dudley on economic conditions in the region. President Dudley and staff will answer questions after the presentations.

The event will be webcast to registered participants.
