The Federal Reserve Bank of New York provides employees and their families with medical, dental, prescription drug, vision and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). Medical Plans A wide range of coverage options are available for your healthcare, hospital and related expenses. Plan designs enable employees to minimize out of pocket expenses other than their monthly premiums. Prescription Drug Plan Coverage is provided for prescription drugs, with retail pharmacy and mail-order options, at no additional premium when you join one of the Bank’s medical plans. Vision Care Coverage is available for eye exams, standard lenses and frames, contact lenses and discounts for laser surgery. Dental Plans Coverage is provided for preventive, basic and major restorative services for both in-network and out-of-network providers, including orthodontia. Health Savings Account (HSA) Available when enrolled in the Consumer Health Plan (a high-deductible medical plan). Offers pre-tax savings that can be used to reimburse health-related expenses that are not covered by our plans. Flexible Spending Accounts A pre-tax account is available to pay for your health-related expenses not covered by our plans, as well as a similar account to cover expenses associated with such needs as daycare, eldercare, summer day camp, nursery school, and certain after-school programs. Mental Health & Emotional Support Complimentary access to online therapy that makes it easy and convenient for you and your dependents to connect with a licensed behavioral therapist. Online Meditation Resources Employees receive access to a free subscription that includes mindfulness, resilience, and mental fitness app. Secondary Medical Opinion Get an expert second opinion, available cost-free when you join one of the Bank's medical plans. 24/7 Nurse Line When you join one of the Bank's medical plans, you also get access to nurses who can provide guidance and appropriate care assistance at any time of the day. Health & Wellness Center Our comprehensive Health & Wellness Center at our Liberty Street, NY and East Rutherford, NJ offices has an onsite pharmacy and nurse practitioners who can diagnose and help you manage minor health issues.
