Freshman Discovery Day

Registration for our 2024 Freshman Discovery Day is now closed. Please check back in February for more information on our 2025 program.

Freshman Discovery Day is a pioneering educational outreach program designed to encourage undergraduate freshmen students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds to learn more about the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and the internship opportunities available for undergraduate students.

Through presentations and panel discussions, student participants that attend this webinar will learn about the New York Fed’s core mission, responsibilities, and diversity and inclusion efforts.

First-year students pursuing a bachelor’s degree and interested in banking, finance, economics, technology, monetary policy, public service, and mission-based work are encouraged to register.

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York is committed to a work environment that respects and fully values the strengths and differences of its people. To support us in our efforts, we partner with a number of non-profits that connect us with talent across a broad spectrum of diversity.
