New York Fed to Host Press Briefing on the Regional Economic Recovery

The Federal Reserve Bank of New York hosted a press briefing on the regional economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. The event provided a brief overview of economic conditions in the region, which includes the New York City metropolitan area, upstate New York, northern New Jersey, southwestern Connecticut, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The briefing also took a close look at labor market conditions and assessed remaining job shortfalls in the region.
